Minnesota Seminar
An AG pumpkin seminar will be held in Austin, Minnesota, on April 1,
2000. The seminar will start at 1:00 pm in the Austin Public Library and
sponsored by the Southern Minnesota Giant Pumpkin Growers. Topics to be
discussed include fertilizing, bug control, weed control, and other AG
pumpkin growing topics. Seeds will be available for those who attend. A
donation of $5 would be appreciated by the sponsors of this event.
Since Austin is not an official weigh off site, the sponsors want to
form a club and consider joining the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth and
become a national weigh off site. Everyone is welcome.

Big pumpkins will be grown in SE Minnesota this year and hopefully
challenge those from northern Minnesota and the rest of the pumpkin
growing world..
