Re: Earthquake Lost pumpkin

Shake Rattle and Roll ...

Kathie, everyone,

I'm sure Chris Michalec is alright but i haven't
talked to him. Covington it south east of Seattle.
but Chris works just north of downtown.

I've been through a few quakes when i lived
in Caliph. :) but know matter how many you've
been through, it freaks you out ... it's
just not a good feeling to be in building
that is moving so much and for so long !

where I was some computer monitors tipped over
and also some book shelves. and some stuff was
shaken off desks and shelves. apparently there
was a few broken window in my building -but I
don't know where.

right after it was over the light poles in the
parking lot were moving back at forth 4-5 feet.

there are some cracks in the building in the
stairwells. and the elevators are shut down till
someone can come inspect them.

Considering the magnitude of the quake we were
lucky that there wasn't more damage. the experts
on the news are saying it is because it was a
deep (30 miles down) and not a surface quake.

Shaken (literally !) in Seattle.

so are earthquakes good for pumpkins ?
