RE: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #1660
Along with that question...any info on using bat feces would be appreciated.
I had a colony of bats excluded from my attic recently and saved some of the
(estimated) ton of Guano they removed. I have heard it is a very powerful
fertilizer.

Does anyone have any good insight on using poultry manure verses cow
manure.
I have had great trouble in finding aged, and none aged cow manure
were I live.
Which by the way is in Indiana. I know that poultry manure is very
high in nitrogen, and phosphorous this is what troubles me. will good root
growth, and flower growth be at the cost of not producing any pumpkins? If i
can use at what rate would be suggested for a hill 6x6. rooting depth of
3ft.
thank
you all in advance
