punks and Q's
Hi, Deb!
I was down to one cup of frozen banana squash or pumpkin, not sure which
nor do I care, and of course I used commercially frozen blueberries. I
cut the recipe in half, because I have only one muffin tin. Excellent!
For an easy slight variation on chocolate chip cookies, try this one,
which I tried for the first time Friday:
Brown & White Snowballs
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
Instant cocoa mix
Sifted confectioners sugar
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift in flour and salt
and mix thoroughly. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Shape in
walnut-size balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for
15-20 minutes. Cool slightly (5 mins. was long enuf for me). Roll half
the batch in powdered cocoa mix, the other half in confectioners sugar.
Very cute!
Kathie
