Re: cover crop tilling question
It is ok to mow it first, but try to do it the same day that you are going to
till it in,it keeps more of the nutrients and is better for the soil when
tilled in green. You can till anything else you want in with it, but is has
been my experiance that it is easier to till the grass in first then add
whatever you want and till that in after. It might take 30 days to completly
breakdown the grass but it is ok to till whenever you want or need too at any
time, tilling also helps breakdown the grass even quicker. Hope this helps.
