Re: 1370 Rose--why are the offspring orange?

Thanks, but I'm not much of a genetics major.  I do like the  red/orange 
though!
My thoughts?
It is true that the 1370, in theory, should only throw Orange about 1 in 4  
times...but the 845 Bobier does have a 567.5 Mombert(red orange!) ....plus the  
810 McInnis from '96 is also on the other half of the bracket and that was an 
ok  orange...so maybe this alignment produces very high  nice orange  
colors....like the 801.5 Stelts,  810 Dill, 940 Mombert, etc.
Not sure what else to say...except  to wish everyone a great 2006  Season 
growing nice red/orange pumpkins!  :-)
