Can anyone tell me how long it takes to ammend your soil between a soil
test and planting time. Unfortunately I have waited this late to test and
I fear not having the right amount of time to make corrections. I am
however growing in topsoil that was fresh from the nursery last year, so
maybe it won't need much for changes.
Thanks,
Chris A

Hey old buddy!,
We all have cabin fever! Get your soil test and correct pH and check your
micros. There is still basically 1.5 to 2 months before blast off. Plenty of
time to make some adjustments.
P.S. I'd like to attach a note for early birds with cabin fever. Do not try
to till your garden until the soil has warmed and dried out. Tilling wet cold
soil will leave you with the biggest mess of hard clumpy soil that you can
imagine. Some warm areas of the country can till now, but I doubt if I can
till for another 6 weeks....depending on the March and April conditions.
