How many plants and where.

Brian:
I haven't had the time to respond to your post about growing four plants by a
pond but I will. Your problems are similar to ones I have. I would say though
that I suggest planting near the corners of the large rectangular garden and
letting the plants grow horizlontal to the long side. When the plant is done
growing, if you use XMAS tree pruning technique, your plant will fill long
rectangular spaces about 35 feet long and maybe 30 feet wide with additional
grpwth at the base bringing the plant size up to the 1250 square foot range
plus, no problem. That is, if you did everything else right. What is the size
of your patch? Having four plants may be more than you can support.
