The soil test came back stating looking good just add 1.3lb.Na 2.0lbphos.
...0.5 sulfur per 1000 sq. ft.....the PH is right there at 6.8......the pro
from the lab says because my organic matter is high that PH may not be as
critical..........to broadcast a 1/2lb... of sulfur seems hard to do what
do you figure put it in water and spray it.........I was thinking of gypsum
but my Calcium is good ..............the question i have is when they make
 a reccomendation for a 1.3lb Na. per 1000 sq.ft whats this mean? Doesn't
say at what level like urea is 46-00-00 or would 13-00-00 be ok? brock

V.B.,
I don't know if you are an organic grower or not....here are some chemical
remedies......Superphosphate has phosphorous, sulfur and calcium. , Epsom Salt
like you soak your feet in is water soluble and is Magnesium Sulfate. You
don't need much sulfur compared to the others so a little superphosphate
should dial you right in. When a fertilizer reccommendation comes in, they are
talking about pure nitrogen, phosphorous , etc. A 50 pound bag of Urea
(46-0-0) is 46% Nitrogen.....so.... 1.3 lbs divided by .46 = 2.8 pounds. of
urea. If you were using 5-10-5 as your Nitrogen source it would be 1.3 lbs
divided by .05 = 26 pounds of 5-10-5 because it is low in nitrogen. You will
notice that you need 10 times less Urea because it is 10 times stronger.
