Silent Auction - Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers

The Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers are having a silent auction on a pair of
Tony Ciliberto 697 (94) seeds.  In case you have forgotten, this seed in
1996 was the mother of Bill Greer's 1006 and Debbie Haegen's 714.  In 1997
this seed was the mother of Kirk Mombert's 765 and John Castellucci's
743.2.  It is also the grandmother of multi 700 plus pounders.

This silent auction is available only to members of the pumpkin group and
those reading the digest.

Post your bets publicly on the pumpkin group.  Farmer Gus will be able to
monitor them on the "digest" as he has unsubscribed from the group.

Bidding will cease at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, 12 March and the highest
bidder will be announced and will get a pair of the best proven seeds in
the world.

All bids are in USA dollars.

There is a reserve bid, the amount which has been emailed to Duncan
McAlpine who is honour bound not to divulge it.

If the reserve bid is not met, the silent auction is null and void.
