Hey Barb,
1 Tablespoon per gallon Captan won't hurt it, but it is probably not
necessary. If the seed has sprouted and looks healthy, transplant it out. I
have seen mold on the side of a peat pot before....There are all sorts of
molds and things like that in soil and compost.....some are even good. Just
due to poor air circulation in the sprouting box. Your O.K.
