Barb from Orlando,
I think you are getting foggers and mist blowers mixed up. A fogger is a
small device usually used in greenhouses. You can close up the house and put an
insecticide in the fogger to kill all the critters in the house. A mist blower
doesn't put out a fog. It is a backpack sprayer with a blower attached. It is
basically a leaf blower with a water tank on it so you can introduce a small
trickle of water into the blast of air. It blows the
insecticide/fungicide/fertilizer or whatever under the leaves. Solo is probably
your best bet for they are a company that has been around awhile.....you can
get parts, etc. George Brooks may know the model number. You will not find
these in Home Depot etc,......I don't think...... you must go to a greenhose or
agricultural wholesaler. Try a local greenhouse or apple orchard. They should
be able to give you the address of a local distributor for Solo. With all the
agriculture in Florida, there has to be a few distributors locally so you can
get away from the shipping and handling. Be prepared to spend alot of money,
but you are buying quality and not a piece of junk. Should last a lifetime.I
bought one used years ago for 250 bucks. I think the Solo is around 500 or 600
bucks......George correct me if I'm off on the pricing. If you win the lottery
you can buy an electrostatic backpak sprayer they are only 1,800 bucks....hard
to believe you can strap 1,800 bucks on your back. Actually when you think
about it, 1,800 dollars is cheap......the same price as 18 Mombert seeds! :) :)
