OK, now someone please tie this thread together for me. These giants were
grown from a self pollinated Zehr 1061? If not from the Zehr, then from
what.

If these were not officially weighed then how were they weighed?

Also, why would anyone know about measuring OTT yet not know the
significance of a 1400 and a 1226 pumpkin. Short of this list, or one of
Don's books, OTT is unknown. This doesn't make sense to me you can know the
way to measure but don't know about contests, the newspaper, Guinness, TV
etc. Then or course there is my 12 ft long gourd and my 22 ft tall corn so
maybe.....

Since the only place to get a 1061 is from Ray maybe Ray can tell us if such
a seed was sold to this gentleman.

Lastly, rather than all of us calling this guy I would ask that Al Eaton
consider being the lists "front man" to call this guy.  Al's knowledge of
seeds, and their possible sources, will
add more to finding out the truth, or fiction, of this story than any one
else.

I would like to be a believer but I remember that even Ripley never said his
stories were true, he simply said "Believe It, Or Not".
