Alright I've been busted, my secret is out. Being a bagpiper, every
night during grow season I casually slipnto my kilt and pipe a few tune
for my pumpkins(their very receptive audiences). I feel this scares the
heck out of them and they grow larger in attempts to chase me away.But
they fail, and I keep playing for them until harvest. So that's the key
