What that was was the beginning of MIME code, or UUCODE, which is just a way
that binary files are converted into text for transmission over the internet
through emails. Usually you are just shown a clip of the header. ONLY if you
decode this text into a file and if you run it, are you in danger. Text in
emails CANNOT do anything harmful directly. You never can get a virus or
trojan just by reading or opening an email.
