Lumina and Casper are both C.Maxima var of cucurbits as well as Atlantic Giants
so yes they will cross.
The cross traits will not show up in this years pumpkins but will be carried
into the genetics of the seeds!
Just think a white Atlantic Giant ?! I like to see the color ruling on that
one! hmmm it's not orange enough to be classified as a pumpkin as the weigh-off
rules go but it's not green/gray so it aint a squash either.
Bottom line: hand pollinate and keep the bees out with cheese cloth or other
covers over the blossoms.
