In the interest of the group, I think it would be advisable to expose
who is sending out or from what source fake seeds are allegedly coming from. I
for one today received a 1006 Greed seed, I did not get it from Greed.
Therefor it has gone thru someone else hands. I hate to think it might not be
a real 1006. Can you give us more details? Also thank you for your input in
answering some of my questions I've put to the group lately

I guess I wasn't paying attention. I thought the message about Fake seeds
was a joke or a "What If". This was a big problem in New England 12 - 15
years ago when seeds were even harder to come by. Sorry to hear that this
might have happened again. If it's any help I have some 560 seeds that are
the 1006 Greer self pollinated. This is from my "Living Dead" pumpkin from
last year that blew up at 560 lbs. but I was able to mature the seeds. It was
pollinated with it's own male flowers, no other flowers were present in the
patch. Who knows what it will produce. I may not have room to test it this
year, it will be my backup to the Lloyd 935. Anyone who wants some of these
contact me privately for info. Supply is limited.
