567.5 revisited

I know this subject was discussed very nicely a few months back but I would
like to get some input from some of the newer members to the group. My
question is do you think that the time Mr. Laemle inbreed his line that
produced the 609 was sufficient to produce the sort of hybrid vigor
observed in the 567.5 seeds? Or do you think it may be because there was
another tribe of C. maxima in the Laemmle background that caused this vigor
to occur? Since AG's are descended from a pumpkin eve then is it reasonable
to assume that if the Lammele line was just a very inbred AG then the
567.5's vigor might not be possible because when it was bred back with the
616 Holland there would't be enough difference between the two to create
the observed vigor of the 567.5 seeds? Could some unknown C. maxima be
involved here? Could it be descended from something else than the pumpkin
eve of AG's?I have been going crazy thinking about it and since i don't
have a strong genetic background I need some help here
And if another lost tribe of C. maxima was found which also has a
good genetic potential to get large could hybrid vigor be realized if
crossed with the AG? I am not very versed in genetics so please correct be
if i am making some wrong assumptions. I have been searching the the web
for lost tribes of C. maxima with little luck. Although, I have found one
promising lead. I will post details in the future when they become
available.
Or if we want to create another 567.5 we will have to inbreed a AG
strain for selected characteristics and then breed it back to the standard
AG? and if so how long?

Thanks for any input i need some clarity on this one
John
