Re: When to fence....how to fence.



Before you put them in the ground, Burried 1+1/2 feet into the ground and at least 3 feet above the ground. Also dont rely on the fence put traps around the fence..These animals can climb.. If they chew through your vine or eat the first leaves you are done for the season. I kept building bigger and better fences for 3 years.. They got through them every time.. Only had success when I bough some hav-a-hart traps and relocated the rascals.. Ground hogs were my big problem.. Bait the trap with apples cut in quaters.
