Re: 300 to 450
Compariing a parents weight to how large it's ofspring is, well, it is
not the best indicater of how a seed will do. Someone who was growing a 300
lbs pumpkin may have had very bad weather, and the next grower who grew his
offspring may not have. A pumpkin that is 300 lbs may have had the potential
to be 1000 but just a bad upbriging. Differing soils, and levels of
differnet growers or one growers skill from year to another year also changes
so it is a bit of a crap shoot. Basically, if a good grower gets a decent
seed and has decent weather, they will grow a big pumpkin.
