RE: Woodchuck war
Liz: Try a Dog? My past experience with them tells me a 22 is the sure bet!
locate their holes they always have more than one plug them up and toss a
gopher gas bomb down one or stick a hose from your pickup truck exhaust down
the hole! they're tough to get rid of, they'll dig under fences!! try a low
electric fence if possible?? anyone ever have any luck with fox urine??
good luck -- lock and load

p.s. their favorite snack is young pumpkin leaves!!

Subject: Woodchuck war
Help! My garden has been invaded by an entire woodchuck family! We caught
one in a live trap but the others are now savvy to the program and wont get
near the trap. Before I move on to a .22 or other weaponry, does anyone
know
what to use to lure them into the trap? Do they have any favorite snacks?
They have repeatedly chewed through my fence and are having a feeding frenzy
in the vegetable buffet they think I have prepared just for them.
MN growers, are there any agencies that you can call to have them come trap
them and take them away? Or is death by heavy artillery the way to go?
Thanks.
Liz
