RE; SOAKER HOSE AND THE PIT

I also burried two soaker hoses in two pits about 10 inchs down 5/8" hose.
The idea is to attracked the roots deep into the soil. So not to have shallow
roots.When i transplant im only going to turn the soaker on every 3 days or
so for ten or fifteen minutes.Sometimes less is better to start with.Also i
have a weep system that covers my entire garden around 800 ft or so of 1/2"
soaker i bury that also around 3 to 4 inchs deep once the garden is full
blown with vines i keep the water on for 1 1/2 hours or so every 3 or four
days when needed.
