I'm holding off a little longer-we have had high dry winds this last week and
nights are still pretty cool here in the East Bay (Martinez). Last year I
missed the height of the growing season by planting too soon-After 120 days
my plant was spent & my fruit just sat there w/no measurable increase for
about 4 weeks before weigh-off. I'm taking my chances, but I think I'll have
a better growing season if I wait 'til after Mothers' Day. (Thats the day I
put my plants out last year-) I've got my plot all ready though w/ 6 months
worth of compost all tilled in & ready to go!
