Re: Need a pumpkin fix!

  Jon
As a second year grower I am shooting for the BIG ONE this year and am using
the following seeds......

  (1) 791 Glasier "98" (567.5 Mombert self and sibbed) in primary mound one
895 or 986 Hester* "00"(900 Lyons* sibbed) as back up

  (2) 1064.5 Needham "00"(862.5 Hester X 940 Mombert) in secondary mound two
       1140 Stelts"00"(705 Stelts X 435 Grindle) or 826.5 Hester "00"(935
Lloyd X 946
       Geerts)

  (3) The infamous neighbor patch which will be tended by me and the next
heavy
hitter "JOE COMPTON" He I think is eight years old but BOY can that
kid
garden a true natural. For him we are putting in the 826.5
Hester"00"(935 Lloyd
       X 946 Geerts) With the 700 est Vanlderstine "00" (970 Gervias 98 X
926
       Wentzel) as the back up.

  (4) The yard next door which I call the "long yard" is still up for grabs
and I am not
sure if I can persuade my neighbor to use it. If I do I will use the
back ups and
pop one or two in there. The long yard will if anything be for
Halloween pumpkins
and not for weigh off pumpkins so they will be est weights and I
probably will
only be able to drag one pumpkin to HMB so I just hope I choose
wisely.

Well, there is my choices for 2001
Ugh Bob Troy if you see any pumpkins you want to use as a cross you are
welcome to as many flowers as you need !!!!!
