RE: re 869 Calai
Hi again and thanks for the info. I guess you have yet another grower of
the 869 Calai. Our package says: M. 801 Stelts x F. 846 Calai. Today,
ours will have been outside in the cold frame for 7 days. It has four true
leaves and a nice stout stem. We are second year growers. First year, we
grew a 230 pounder with a plant that was given to us. All we know about
that one is that it came from the Dill seed catalogue. Hopefully, with the
knowledge we gained last year and better seeds, we will improve from last
year. It will be great to compare notes with everyone else who is growing
this pumpkin. MJ

According to my records it comes from the 846 Calai with the 801.5 Stelts as
the pollinator.
