i think you are over watering cut back or stop for a few days if you let
the soil dry out just a little that mold/fungus will go away or if you
want to make it die faster a little chicken grit will help get rid if it
if you want to very lightly scratch the surface of the soil to break up
the crust and break up your mold/fungus it would be ok but keep an eye
out for roots they grow much faster then the above ground parts of the
plant also with your mold/fungus problem do you have some sort of cold
frame over your plants if so you might want to open it up a little on
warm days to let a little air circulate add a few minutes of open time
every day weather permits good luck deb
