Hello all.  Several weeks ago I planted one seed in my patch, in a mound
under
glass.  It germinated promptly and has looked good... until yesterday.  It
had grown
quickly and had progressed until it had 3 true leaves.  I had been propping
the glass
up during the day and it was removed completely on Sat.  I then covered it
with an
old wire gate to keep the pesky critters out.  Checked daily, it looked
fine until
last night.  It looks as if it was severely frostbitten - completely wilted.
Temperature has been fine and it doesn't seem too wet or too dry.  By this
evening it
shows no sign of recovering.  It's been a little rainy so I have only set
out one
other plant and it looks fine - I set it out on Sat. and have the glass
elevated
above it.  I have 2 more plants to set out and I'm not sure what I need to
do.  Any
suggestions would be appreciated!  Thanks.  Jetta in Virginia
