RE: Non Chemical
sorry sometimes I send before I read
This mite sound funny but white fly hate nicotine is you make a solution
and it seems to work on just about all flying insects around the pumpkin
plants I was using chemicals and they were not working very well. Then I
read an organic pest book and found this : take a gallon milk jug fill with
water pour in one bag of red mans chewing tobacco and set in the warm sun
for a day, drain liquid into 2 gallon sprayer add 1/2 cup mouth (
antiseptic ) mouthwash 1/4 cup dish soap for a sticker and top off with warm
water. I used this and I haven't had white fly in about a week

Subject: Non Chemical
List,
Has anyone found a good non chemical way of preventing / treating powdery
mildew, white fly's, aphids, flea beetles and other minor insects with out
nuking them with chemicals ?
Tried Hot Pepper Wax, Baking Soda, Dishwashing liquid, Ultra Fine, Oils,
Kelp, and Lady bugs at different times with no success.
I would like to try not to nuke everything in the soil this year.
Does systemic insecticides kill off good microbes and beneficial's in the
soil ?
