everything has just stopped

 After a few days of partial sun we in Torrance are enjoying light drizzle
and cool
(60 degree or so) weather. The plants are just sitting there in the same
condition as they were two days ago. I have allot of reptile supplies left
over from my world record potential Burmese Python and am curious if anyone
has ever tried "infra red heating bulbs" to keep plants warm. They are a
ceramic cone that emits infra red heat and no light at all. The common use is
for reptiles and exotic birds and I may feel obligated to pull them out and
put one on a plant. Thanks in advance !!
