Re: everything has just stopped

I direct started my seeds outside last year, and used an infared lamp for a
heat source.  I check the soil temperature 24 hours after I installed it, and
it was 110 degrees!  I had to keep the lamp at a pretty good distance from
the mound to get the temp to 85 degrees, and out of the 6 seeds I planted,
only 1 survived.  The infared lamp will work but be careful!!!!!  Better to
start too far away than too close.
