I use this method, with excellent results:
Wrap seeds in soaking wet paper towel and put in saucedish covered with
saran wrap for one day, then take out and wring out the paper towel
and put back in and cover again with saran wrap.....generally only takes
2 - 4 days. I have now germinated 22 of 27 pumpkins in less than 3 days
and 2 of 5 squash seeds in 3 days..........Paul
