Re: Problems getting seed hulls to pull off when germinating ...HELP please ????



Yeah, that's what I mean. From my experience,
about a third of them just pop up like gangbusters,
the seed leaves fill out quickly and plump up, and
the hull is gone before you see it. Another third,
maybe more, grow pretty well, and the hull comes
partly off, and you can easily pull or pry the shell
the rest of the way off. Then another third can
barely get out of the hull, and it takes major
delicate surgery to remove it. A few times, the seed
leaf has seemed to be attached to the hull and it
won't come off without damage. Patience would probably
be in order here, something I tend to lack ;-).
