Re: light intensity

Well, I finally got around to looking into this.
I was a little surprized, but now I'm not when I
think about it... there is very little difference
from a pure "amount of light" standpoint. That is
my incident light meter shows no difference between
straight sky and being under 6-mil plastic. I'm sure
there is "some", but its very small, not even a
third of a stop. At that magnitude of light, its
very hard to measure the difference.

I think perhaps the light is a little more diffused
under the plastic... and that might even help, who
knows?

Again, like I said before, I don't think this is the
end of the story. There is more to be learned here.
But I don't think the "full cloche" people are loosing
anything as far as the amount of light goes.

Regards, Cliff
