This year my two seeds are the 1097.5 Beachy(purchased at the Pumpkin Nook
Auction)and the 1098 Ciliberto. The Ciliberto is a champ, having been above
ground for nine days, with coyle (is that right?) leaf expanse from tip to
tip of just over 11". The Beachy is very strong also, but seems to be
struggling to fully expand its coyle leaves. It is almost as if they are
too big. Even with the leaves partially expanded the spread is 10" and the
leaves are 4" wide each. By comparison the Ciliberto leaves are 3 3/4" wide.
They both have their first true leaf showing. Anyone else have this issue
with the Beachy? It may be the result of my having cooked the seeds (see
previous post).
