Re: Pumpkin Rum


Inside the pumpkin sprinkle some brewing yeast in(get it from your home 
brew shop). This gives the brewing yeast (i.e. the good bugs),  a head 
start. Once they are started they will optimise conditions for themselves 
and this reduces competition from rogue bugs and bad yeast infections.This 
will reduce the number of failures, i.e. wrong bug/yeast infections. The 
quicker the brewing yeast takes over the less taints and bad flavours you 
will have in your final product. Store the Rum, the longer the better 
(taste after 6 months, retaste after 1 year), the older it gets the 
smoother it gets. 
The tricky part is waiting.

And 
yes that would be a lot of brown sugar for an AG.
