Something for the Birds

Ok - I have a problem that maybe someone here can help me with.
 A bunch of tiny little songbirds have developed a taste for
the sunflowers I planted near my patch.  They land on the
leaves and  tear them to shreds.

What's the best thing I can spray on the sunflowers to make
them a little less tasty??
