we haven't had a problem with birds eating the plant itself but have had
birds pick the emerging seed from the ground and have found taking chicken
wire and folding it so it makes an upsidedown "v" has kept the birds from
picking at young seedlings and have covered the heads with cheesecloth to
the birds out hope that helps
