An open question to all members

I have belonged to the Mallorn list for a long time. When I first joined it
was a forum for growers to learn from other growers about seeds,
planting,pruning and a lot of other things. It was an actual exchange of
knowledge. 
 
From the posts lately it seems there is very little exchange of helpful
information, just my opinion! 
 
I now question the value of the Mallorn list?
 
I welcome any and all opinions?
