Mike and Carolyn,
I also grow giant Tomatoes as well as every other world record variety
vegetable. I envision my garden looking like a mini verson of Ray Watermans,
with everything from giant asparagus (sp?) to giant zuccini. The Burpee
Delicious is the current world record holder of some 7 pounds 12 ounces.
$101,000 goes out to the first one to beat it, (using Maricle grow). I have
gotten as close as 4 lbs. 8 oz. This year I have planted Burpee delicious,
Supersteak Hybrid, Giant yellow Oxhearts, Beefmaster Plus Hybrid, and my own
hybrid seed. My hybrid plants are doing well since they are climatized to my
area here in Oregon. I have high hopes for them.
