To all:
I still a rather new grower in this world of giants, but I still wanted to
share my recent germination sucesses with some of the people who are
struggling like I used to.
Although there has been lengthy disagreement on this method, it has
certainly proven nearly 100% sucessful for me.
After the many disscussions on bubbling I tried it. And it works for me.
I now even use it on watermelon and musk melon seeds that are hard to
germinatate. In a nut shell I lightly file the two edges with an emery
board, then bubble them in a giant mayonase jar with a fish areator and an
old tank heater set at 75-80 degrees. As recomended by other people on
this page I have been bubbling for about 8-10 hours, then the moist towel
wrap and 85 degrees until radical emergance.
I have to admit it has been sucessfull for me.
