Dear George,
What type of chemical was used?
I was given a written warning from the Department of Food and
Agriculture regarding a chemical I used for weed control for pumpkins.
Although they could not prove it was caused by me they felt "a highly
reasonable probability" that my chemical caused the damage.
My chemical company wanted me to sue the State for accusing me. My
neighbors enjoy having the greenest lawns. Lawn company’s are making a
fortune in spraying in my area.
Down the street through 15 foot high arborvitae’s one out of 6
rhododendrons were affected. The plant turned all white in August. The
plant stayed white through out the winter and spring. Plants right next
to my house and next to pumpkins were not effected. Even the inspector
could not understand why one shrub was effected but my own shrubs were
not effected.

Trade name Dragon Brush Killer, don’t have a container to look up the
ingredient but I was told they were very volatile. The professor said only
to use Roundup but carefully.
