Hi John,
I don't know if they are typical, but for comparison here is some info I
recorded for my plants this year. Days are counted from when seed was
planted in peat pot. "In ground" means transplanted outside in mini
greenhouse. ? means I didn't keep track. 4 of these plants are still in
the 'hill". I have to make a decision soon on which one(s) to keep. I will
probably choose two tomorrow, and then make the final cut in another week or so.

Status this evening: (your letter inspired me to go out and do an update)
# 1 30 days old. 11 leaves. Biggest leaf about 7.5" across. No
"runners" yet.
#3 30 days old. 8 leaves. Biggest is about 9". No runners.
#6 24 days old. 8 leaves. Biggest about 7.5". No runners.
#7 24 days old. 9 leaves. Biggest about 9". No runners.
I'm a little concerned about having no runners or true vines yet, but I'm
not sure if they are getting behind in this regard or not. Can anyone
comment on this aspect?
Hope this helps.
