RE: FYI - Top 10 list

Brock,

The list was compiled based on the percentage of a seed's immediate
offspring achieving weights over 700 and 800 pounds. At 525 records, the
database is obviously in a fledgling stage. Nonetheless, it is big
enough for one to be able to see trends in seed use and production
develop. That is what this list represents. As the database grows, this
list will inevitably change although I suspect some of those at the top
will remain so. Tim has just entered another 175 records. I reran the
Performance Summary but it only served to reinforce the results shown in
the list. Remember, if we had less than 6 offspring recorded for any
particular pumpkin, I did not consider it for the list. This cut down
those illegible considerably which is why you are seeing the Marcellus
seed.

Thanks for noticing and for keeping us on our toes. It is for those like
yourself that this project was conceived.

P.S. Hats off to Tim and Rick for the data entry. It is quite an
achievement!
