i use the same and have good results. it doesn't kill them but
it keeps them away. also burying the vines helps to.

As I am quickly learning, Vine borers in my region(Indiana) are public enemy
no.#1. I am prepared to spray for these pesky varmints. I have purchased a
liquid spray which contains carbryl(sevin) and methoxychlor. My question is
when should I start spraying for these AG terminators and am I using the best
chemicals in this situation.
All help and responses appreciated.
