Hi,

I'm growing an Anderson 977 - started it inside in a peat pot. It's doing
terrific! It took about a week to germinate. I tried the peat pots this year
because everyone says thats what they use - but I don't like them. I really had
to work to get the seeds to germinate. I covered them with plastic wrap & used a
heating pad.  I found that with peat pots - there's more problems with mold,
drying out,  smell, etc.  I much prefer plastic starting pots. No mold, the
moisture is easier to control, better germination & they all germinate around
the same time.
