Mike in 1991 in Colorado I transplanted a pumpkin at about the six leaf
stage, and I did a rather clumsy job of it. Lost some soil from around the
roots in the process. Plant went into small shock, not bad, and went on to
produce a 579 lb pumpkin, not too bad in 1991, placed third at Nut Tree. So
from my experience I would say go for it!!!!!!!! P and C Glasier
