Hi,
Status report - so far all plants are doing well. While most of my other
vines are growing along the ground, my A977 is trying to grow up to the
sun! It's really funny - it's just curving upward. It developed a
split in the vine ,about a week ago, close to the beginning, so I just
covered it with soil & it appears to be doing just fine (knock on
wood). The A 634 is going strong & so are my 3 Mr. Pumpkin 581 plants
and two Dill plants. Hue is tagging along & I'm thinking about pulling
him if he doesn't get his act together & replace him with my other A977.
Gotta make the decision soon! discovered 1 white fly the other day.
Tried to squash it but he got away. Got all dressed in my protective
sweat pants, socks, gloves & mask to use my new solo backpack sprayer
(which I bought last fall) - filled it up, put it on, pumped it up, &
got all wet!!! My new sprayer had a leak....so much for protective
clothing. Lowes traded it with no problem, & the new one works great.
Got my copy of the SPGA magazine the other day & I really enjoyed it!
The check will be in the mail tomorrow :-)
