RE: George Heyne

George, With 12-13 plants this year, your gonna be busy. I can't imagine
working on that many. My fertilizer bill alone would be outrageous. I
decided to not grow my 850 (uow) this year. What I've been reading and
hearing is that the Zehr seed that produced it, has not produced much else,
and that mine seems to have been the one exception.I've passed enough of
it's seed around this year, so if it does produce a nice fruit for someone,
I'll definately try it again next year. All but one of my seeds germinated as
of yesterday. My one seed, the famous Ciliberto 697hasn't though. It's a '94
seed and I'm wondering if it has lost it's punch after 5 years. I feel I've
got a good batch of seeds with the potential to reach 900+ if I use my
knowledge and experience well.Happy Growing Pumpkinpiper
