Great to here the 850 came up. Haven't heard from other folks that have the 
seed, so I can't compare. I still don't feel my 850 died from stem rot, or 
showed that characteristic. Honest to God, I think it just couldn't take the 
pressure caused from the 177 pound gain in 6 days that occured. I monitored 
the stem area constantly, there was no softness, juice,tears. or anything 
near stem. But woke up one day and stem was on the ground, with a 6" hole 
where it came off pumpkin. Hole was "solid" and showed no signs of rot near 
it. Up till this point, it had grown problem free, with a "very" circular 
fruit and I feel it would have made 925+ easily had it not died since it had 
5 weeks left to grow. Happy Growing.  Pumpkinpiper
