Matthew I.-considering that Sproule was a first year grower and a 690 is not
that impressive perhaps in this area,I don't know of anybody else who grew
the 690.
As a second year grower he grew the 968 Sproule 98 from the 690 and a lot of
people took notice,myself included.
One should consider where they are grown too.The 968 Sproule 98 beat handily
the previous Quebec record which was the 887 Orr 95,a record that stood for
3 years.
Another comment,25% of the 968 fruit's genes came from the 887 Orr 95.

Who knows what pumpkins were grown from the 690 Sproule other than
Harley's 968? 900 pounders? 800 pounders?
